Entertainment Guide
CheapShot is a guide to finding free entertainment — movies, games, and music — without getting burned in the process. A lot of "free download" sites out there are riddled with malware, fake installers, and popup traps.
Our goal is to help people avoid that: we point out safer sources, walk through basic protection steps (ad blockers, sandboxing, spotting shady sites), and try to save people from downloading something they'll regret.
A Curated Library, Not a Host
CheapShotTV is the movie section of the site. It's essentially a library interface: we organize and display content that is already publicly available on YouTube, in a layout similar to a streaming service.
We don't upload, host, or store any video files ourselves. Every video you see is played directly through YouTube's own embedded player — CheapShotTV just makes it easier to browse and find something to watch.
Why we built it this way
Sorting through YouTube for full movies is tedious. CheapShotTV exists to make that browsing experience nicer — the same way a shelf in a library organizes books that already exist elsewhere. If a video is removed or made unavailable on YouTube, it becomes unavailable here too, since we're just embedding YouTube's own player.
